Canvas to cover
The paintings of Fergus Hare are truly inspiring — a stunning mix of muted tones and vibrant colour. Working closely with Fergus, we designed his book to showcase a recent collection titled ‘Please Don’t Hurt Me’ using tactile papers and print finishing inspired by the artworks inside. With a London show planned in 2025, our collaboration with filmmaker Mike Feather captures the details, from canvas to cover.

We’re all about the print details. We used Colourplan ‘Dark Grey’ for the cover, Foilco ‘657 Pink’ for the title, a delicious ‘Sorbet Yellow’ paper for the intro section, and a satin paper for the art pages. Beautifully printed, finished and bound by the brilliant team at PurePrint.
